Climate Change: Global Warming

Global warming is the ongoing rise of the average temperature of the Earth’s climate system and has been demonstrated by direct temperature measurements and by measurements of various effects of the warming. It is affecting many ecosystems and organisms, but not in a good way. Global warming could cause many species to become extinct. Forests, farms, and cities will face troublesome new pests, heat waves, heavy downpours, and increased flooding. All those factors will damage or destroy agriculture and fisheries.

My Sea Glass Jar

My family goes to the beach all the time. We gather sea glass there every time we go. It is always a blast. The picture above is a picture of our jar of sea glass at our house. We have a lot, which shows how much we go to the beach. We live right down the street from a beach as well, so it is something we do often.

We also love to walk on the beach and look for sea glass.
